Another day is here! Sitting in my office, I began to observe the so- called couples in and around my surroundings. Checking my e-mail, I found links to three online dating websites, inviting me to join them. How do even they know I am single now? Isn’t it embarrassing enough itself to just live with it and now the whole world is aware of it..Urrrrrgggh..Anyway, I logged on to these websites to get a look at them (Ok, I admit, I was trying my luck).

I got up on a lazy Monday morning and my body refused to co-operate with me (I made sure it did not). I did not want to get up and get dressed for work, but one good look at the watch and I swear I could see my boss’s face in it screaming out loud “Late again. I have given you too many chances, you are fireddddd!”. Unable to deny the prospect of this possibility, I quickly got up and had got ready.

Getting up in the morning, and making sure you dress alright every single day, enough to attract Mr. Charming is a painful part of every single girl’s life. To top it all, after going through the excruciating process of making the same mistakes over and over again, by choosing to go out with all the wrong kinds of people, it’s a miracle that my faith and optimism never fades ( I am pretty sure I can see a lot of heads nodding, welcome to the club people!). Ahhh, hope! It’s all I have!!

How many times it has been that when we are totally confused about the clothes we have to wear, the shoes we have to buy or simply the man we have to choose, we turn to our friends? Well, the answer is almost always! Simply because no one knows us the way our friends do. Growing up together has its advantages, the most important one being the ability to know our friend’s inside out.

How many times have you said to your friends or family “Err, I had gone on a date with this guy I met on an online dating website and guess: The date turned out to be a complete disaster. It was so awkward and we totally had nothing in common. I wanted to run from that place as fast as I could”. Let me guess, if you are single and in search of a good date, you must have had that experience at least once.
